Having its humble beginnings in 1974, what started as "Charvel's Guitar Repair" shop to refinish and repair out-of-warranty Fender instruments soon became a cult favourite amongst hard rock and heavy metal players for its modernized Stratocaster revamps and configurations. Thus the SuperStrat was born, and till this Charvel continues to push boundaries with the Pro Mod San Dimas guitars.
