About This Product
Akai Professional created the new EWI5000 to deliver unprecedented musical expression to to today's wind musicians.
Combining innovative instrument design, wireless connectivity, and a sound library by SONiVOX, the EWI5000 is the most expressive and versatile wind instrument available. The ultra-responsive mouth piece features an air-pressure level sensor and bite sensor for precise control of volume and pitch dynamics. The interface can be switched to flute, oboe, and saxophone fingering modes, with EVI (Electronic Valve Instrument) mode included for brass players.
With 3GB of built in sounds, integrated USB and MIDI connectivity and the EWI5000 Sound Editor software, the possibilities are almost limitless.
Can I pre-order an item if it’s currently unavailable?

Does my order come with a warranty?
Yes! All orders come with Essential Coverage for a year from the date of purchase once you've registered your order details in your Swee Lee account. Log in to Swee Lee with your BandLab account and get another 6 months of complimentary warranty.
Can I test an item before buying it?
Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
Will my order come with any accessories?
