Andy Mooney, CEO of Fender® Musical Instruments Corporation since 2015, combines his passions for guitars and stamps by incorporating stamps from his private collection into Custom Shop instruments. Fender®'s Custom Shop has created a very limited number of these unique instruments worldwide. This premium guitar features an alder body, a "modern C" shape maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets, a Gotoh® GTC202 bridge, Yosemite pickups, vintage-style tuners, and comes in a deluxe hard case with a strap and certificate of authenticity. It takes on average 100 stamps per guitar, so there are about 20,000 stamps used to develop the collection. They’re all Telecasters, all the same colour, same pickups, and they’re all tonally functional, playable guitars.

People have asked Andy,’ what do you want to call the collection?’ And the best word I can come up with is the Imagine Collection, just based on John Lennon’s dream. I’d love it if 25 years from now, everybody who owns one of these got together, and shook hands. Not be at war with each other. That would be a dream come true.”
