It takes on average 100 stamps per guitar, so there are about 20,000 stamps used to develop the collection. They’re all Telecasters, all the same colour, same pickups, and they’re all tonally functional, playable guitars.

People have asked Andy,’ what do you want to call the collection?’ And the best word I can come up with is the Imagine Collection, just based on John Lennon’s dream. I’d love it if 25 years from now, everybody who owns one of these got together, and shook hands. Not be at war with each other. That would be a dream come true.”
