This is a vinyl LP pressing of Getz/Gilberto (2015 EU Reissue) by Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The jazz super-group originally released their album in March 1964, via Verve Records. Produced by Creed Taylor, the album features saxophonist Stan Getz and Brazilian guitarist João Gilberto, pianist and composer Antônio Carlos Jobim (Tom Jobim), who also composed many of the tracks. Getz/Gilberto is considered the record that popularized bossa nova worldwide and is one of the best-selling jazz albums of all time, selling over one million copies. The album received Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, Individual or Group and Best Engineered Recording - Non-Classical; it also became the first non-American album to win Album of the Year, in 1965.
