The Ludwig Legacy Black Cat snare drum is fitted with matching inlaid wood hoops, jaw-dropping beauty with legacy Ludwig warmth gives a vibe into every performance. The shell itself is Ludwig’s own Legacy Mahogany house blend. Its 3-ply, mahogany-flanked-poplar core contributes to a focused attack and full-bodied resonance to this snare that suits endless styles of backbeat music.

The shell is crowned with a 30-degree round over edges and solid 1/4-inch maple re-rings to impart just the right touch of dryness and strength. Collector’s additions to the Legacy Mahogany Black Cat snare include classic lugs and a commemorative Silver Oval Keystone badge.
