This is a 2012 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Meat Is Murder by The Smiths. The English rock band originally released his second studio album on February 11, 1985, via Rough Trade Records. The self-produced album was Amazon Studio in Liverpool and Ridge Farm Studio in Surrey, England. Meat Is Murder became the band's only studio album to reach number one on the UK Albums Chart, and stayed on the chart for 13 weeks. The album was an international success: it spent 11 weeks in the European Top 100 Albums chart, peaking at number 29.
