About This Product
MEINL have provided musicians with a beautiful model of the Kanjira, a traditional frame drum originating from southern India, played with bending pitch and split hand techniques. With a set of three jingles and a durable siam oak design with hand selected goat heads, the drum produces incredible sounds and complex rhythms far beyond what would be expected from such a small drum, one which measures in at just 7.5" in size and 2-1/4" in depth. This model comes in a gorgeous African Brown finish.

Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
