About This Product
The first guitar in the 100 Series to feature our Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought body shape, the 117e offers a seasoned, neo-vintage tone in a package that's perfect for new learners and working musicians alike. Built with back and sides of layered sapele and a solid torrefied spruce top, this acoustic-electric yields a warm voice with clear projection and low-end power. Taylor's special roasting process for the spruce top adds a mature, aged-in sweetness, while Taylor's C-Class interior bracing dials up more volume, sustain and presence in the bass range. Together with the slender, easy-playing neck and built-in ES2 electronics, it all adds up to an exciting playing experience for any type of player.

Unless displayed in a store, we keep our instruments freshly sealed in our warehouse. Should you wish to try an instrument before ordering it online, please call your favourite Swee Lee showroom before heading down, and our staff will be happy to assist!
